This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect on this website, why we collect it and what rights data subjects have — in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data controllers
The joint controllers of your personal data are Mateusz Michalak and Jacek Zieliński (the “Controllers”). The Controllers have made a joint controllership arrangement: they jointly determine the purposes and means of processing contact form data and jointly fulfil the information duties, with the e-mail addresses below serving as the contact point for data subjects. Regardless of that arrangement, you may exercise your rights against either Controller. You can contact us about personal data matters at mateusz@goats.com.pl (Mateusz Michalak) or jacek@goats.com.pl (Jacek Zieliński).
2. What data we collect
We process the data you provide voluntarily via the contact form: your name, e-mail address, optionally a phone number and company name, and the content of your message. We also automatically process basic technical data — IP address, device information and server logs — to the extent necessary to keep the website secure and working properly. No account is required to use this website.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- responding to your enquiry and further correspondence — Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (pre-contractual steps, legitimate interest),
- establishing, exercising or defending legal claims — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR,
- keeping the website secure (including spam protection with Google reCAPTCHA) — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Recipients
Data may be shared with service providers we use to run this website: our hosting provider, e-mail provider and Google Ireland Ltd. (reCAPTCHA). They process data under data processing agreements and solely on our behalf.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Due to the use of Google services, data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area — based on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision.
6. Retention
We keep form data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and correspondence, and afterwards until the limitation period for potential claims expires.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, uodo.gov.pl). To exercise your rights, write to one of the addresses in section 1.
8. Voluntary provision
Providing your data is voluntary, but necessary for us to respond to an enquiry sent via the form.
9. Cookies and reCAPTCHA
This website uses essential cookies required for it to work properly. The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which analyses traffic to tell humans and bots apart — in line with the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated, e.g. as the website evolves or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
